E-money service provider PT Fintek Karya Nusantara (LinkAja) sends the first stage of aid to Mount Semeru eruption victims in Lumajang, East Java. The aid consists of a public kitchen, groceries, ready to eat food and hygiene kit. In this emergency response act, LinkAja also collaborates with Dompet Dhuafa, Baznas, and Rumah Zakat to distribute aid directly to the victims.



LinkAja and LinkAja Syariah users also contributed in this aid, where each investment transaction worth Rp100,000 through the app will be taken Rp5,000 to donate to the victims. Users can make donations to various donation partners like Benih Baik and Sedekah through the “LinkAja Berbagi'' feature by choosing the Donation Program for Semeru in LinkAja & LinkAja Syariah application.



“This initiative aligns with our commitment to show our corporate responsibility. We want to contribute positively to help our brothers and sisters of the Mount Semeru victims with providing them the needed aid. We hope we can help relieve the victims of this disaster“ said Widjayanto, Operations Director of LinkAja.



Until today, LinkAja has given easy access to its complete digital ecosystem. LinkAja has partners of over 1,5 million local merchants, over 400 thousand national merchants, 30 modes of transportation, over 790 million traditional markets, and over 13 thousand online marketplace. LinkAja also can be used for bank transfer, and daily needs transactions such as electrical bills, phone credits, BPJS subscriptions, to purchase of various financial products such as mutual funds and micro insurance. LinkAja is accessible in over 1 million transaction points for cash top up and withdrawal, including ATMs, bank transfer, retail chains to digital finance services.



LinkAja launched LinkAja Sharia in April 2020, the first sharia e-money service in Indonesia, that aims to facilitate all types of transactions in accordance with Islamic law. LinkAja Sharia can be used in the regular LinkAja ecosystem to do donation, alms and waqf through mosques and other Islamic institutions. A year since its launch, LinkAja Sharia has gained more than 6 million listed users and collaborated massively with various strategic partners, such as local government and institutions. LinkAja Sharia aims to expand the Sharia digital ecosystem in Indonesia and plans to extend financial services that are based on Islamic law.
