LinkAja continues to accelerate the growth of the digital ecosystem, especially in the education sector in Indonesia. Since 2019, LinkAja has collaborated with more than 600 educational institutions spread across 18 provinces throughout Indonesia, including Gajah Mada University (UGM) and Sebelas Maret University (UNS) to provide easy integrated digital payment solutions.

In early 2022, LinkAja again demonstrated its commitment to expanding the digital ecosystem in the education field by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a reputable education partner, the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). This strategic collaboration will provide easy transaction services, as well as digital financial innovations to be able to provide broad benefits, especially for the IPB academic community.

"Through this collaboration, LinkAja is committed to being a payment digitizing partner for various activities at IPB. To begin with, we will support the digitization of IPB Alumni membership payments through Career Development and Assessment (CDA) and support non-cash transactions through the provision of QRIS in the IPB canteen. Not only that, but LinkAja will also digitize the entire ecosystem of IPB and the communities within it by fulfilling other daily essential needs for the entire IPB academic community." said Widjayanto, LinkAja's Chief of Operations.

Widjayanto added that IPB, one of the best universities in Indonesia with more than 28 thousand students, is believed to be a strategic partner in expanding the digitization of the LinkAja education ecosystem.

"We hope that the strategic collaboration between IPB and LinkAja can take us one step further in innovation to expand the digital ecosystem in the campus environment. This collaboration will certainly provide convenience and security in transactions. In addition, we hope that the synergy with LinkAja can continue to expand in the future,” concluded Prof. Dr. Ir. Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat, M.Sc, F.Trop, IPU, Deputy Chancellor for Internationalization, Cooperation and Alumni Relations of IPB.

Until now, LinkAja has provided convenience for more than 80 million registered users through the most complete digital ecosystem. In addition, LinkAja has more than one and a half million local merchants, more than 400 thousand national merchants, 30 modes of transportation, more than 790 traditional markets, and more than 13 thousand online marketplaces.
